Production pathway

A strong design listing should answer production questions

Buyers need more than a pretty mockup. They need to know what garment type, fit, fabric, print method, color direction, and usage rights are attached to the design.

  • Show the design on a garment, not only as isolated artwork.
  • Include front, back, sleeve, or label placement notes when relevant.
  • State whether the design is exclusive, licensable, or open to collaboration.
  • Avoid copyrighted characters, logos, or artwork you do not own.

Recommended file quality

Artwork should be clean enough to support sampling and buyer review. Vector files are best for logos and line art; high-resolution raster files are acceptable for many print designs.

  • 300 DPI artwork for raster print files where possible.
  • Transparent PNG for placed graphics.
  • AI, PSD, PDF, or SVG files for professional production review.
  • Clear color references, including Pantone when important.
